Turmeric Ginger Noodles

Turmeric and ginger. My go-to, my favorite combination. This combo is anti-inflammatory, and tasty too. These noodles have become a staple in my household. Whenever my mom asks “Can you make noodles?” I know she’s talking about these.

The ingredients are simple and you probably have most of them in your pantry and fridge already, so what are you waiting for?

Here’s what you need for the turmeric ginger sauce:

Tamari or Soy Sauce

Ginger

Maple Syrup

Turmeric Powder

Lime Juice

That’s it! Plus a little olive oil, and noodles of course because they kind of make the dish. These noodles are really good with salmon and sauteed veggies as well.

  • 1 1/2 tbsp Tamari or Soy Sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp Fresh Ginger
  • 3 tsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil or Butter
Instructions
1. Cook noodles according to instructions and then drain. Add the remaining ingredients, (except the olive oil) to a small bowl and mix until combined.2. Heat a large skillet or frying pan over medium/high heat. Add in the olive oil, followed by the noodles. Then add in the turmeric ginger mixture.3. Toss noodles over medium/high heat until fully coated with the turmeric ginger mixture. Sometimes I add a little more turmeric powder during this step.* Any type of noodles that are good for stir fry can be used (udon, ramen, soba, etc). I normally purchase my noodles in the Asian section at the grocery store. Just make sure that the package verifies that the noodles can be used for stir fry.
